DESCRIPTION

Our Montenegro group tour will show you the most exquisite parts of coastal and central part of Montenegro. We will start with driving by famous 25 switchbacks that will give you the chance to admire extraordinary beauty of Boka Kotorska Bay. After the switchbacks, we will have a photo break and you will understand why UNESCO enlisted this bay as one of the most beautiful bays in the whole world.

Charmed by the views, we continue our drive towards mountain village Njegusi, where you will slowly forget about the Adriatic and start feeling like you are in the Alps. Enjoying the fresh air, we are going to visit family that has been making famous Montenegrin specialty ‘Njeguški pršut’ (smoked ham from Njegusi) for generations. We will learn how they make it, visiting smoking house that they use since 1881 and then have a pleasure of tasting it.

From Njegusi, through rocky mountains of Montenegro, we will continue our journey to Cetinje, the Old Royal Capital. In this area, for unbelievable 500 years, Montenegrins were managing to survive, resisting attacks of many conquerors and invaders, who wanted control over this part of Balkans. During the walking tour, we will learn about this impressive part of Montenegrin history and visit the most impressive museum in the entire country. The Royal Palace will give us an insight in the life of King Nikola and it will help us understand why the entire world admired his achievements.

From the mountains, we return to the coastline and Riviera of Budva with its beautiful beaches, which will show us how diverse our country is. We will not miss the chance to take the photos of one of the most picturesque places on the entire East Adriatic – St. Stefan island-hotel. This will be a good introduction for our story about Budva and its 2500 years long history. With our guide you will explore the narrow streets of the walled town and fall in love with it like thousands of travellers visiting it.

After this exciting Montenegrin day, you will have a free time to relax in Budva and wrap up all the memorable moments that Montenegro Group Tour provided you.
