Our Kotor Walking Tour is designed to show you the best bits of this little coastal town. We will meet in front of the Kotor Old Town with our guide who will firstly introduce you with this beautiful region and the role of Kotor in the rich history of Kotor Bay. Before entering the Kotor Old Town, you will admire its most impressive structure – the City Walls. Then you will slowly continue towards the main square, Square of Arms, which is always vivid and full of people. Some of them are sipping their first coffee, others are running to their offices, while travellers, like you, are discovering some new details about the square, the Clock Tower and the old French Theatre.

We will continue our walk towards the palaces Bizanti and Beskuca, hearing the stories about their owners, passing through the Square of Flour. On this square, there was also the first school of this area, reminding us about the amazing cultural achievements. Although a small town, many of the habitants where highly educated and were well-known in the most important parts in Europe.

Now, we arrive to the Square of St. Tryphon, where the famous 12th century cathedral is. You will be amazed with the magnificent cathedral, its stunning architecture and the tradition of celebrating patron’s Saint day for more than 1200 years.

However, our tour does not end here! Now we will stop in the Maritime Museum, where you will learn more about the families of Kotor, famous sailors and see the models of different types of vessels from various periods of time. Habitants of Kotor are grateful for the beautiful collection that Maritime Museum keeps, because there are proofs of how brave their ancestors were.

Our walk is soon coming to an end, but before we get back to the Main Square, we will make a stop on one more square, where two beautiful Orthodox churches lay. While admiring St. Luka’s and St. Nikola’s church, you will hear about the co-existing life between Catholics and Orthodox throughout the history.

NOTE: We accept the bookings until 4 P.M. a day before the tour departs. If the required minimum of 6 people is not fulfilled by this time, the tour will be cancelled. In this case, you will receive a notice by e-mail or by SMS on the phone number you leave in the booking form.
